Corinthian Candlestick
An elaborate spindle candlestick inspired by the third and highest degree of formality in the Classical order of architecture, the Corinthian Candlestick is a magnificent study in sculptural detail. Its drip cup froths with acanthus leaves like the eponymous columns' elaborate capitals, while the greater part of its vertical column is slender and fluted, the ridges made more apparent by the rippling antiqued brown and white finish, applied in multiple layers to enhance the candlestick's look.
