Necklace Finial

Based on 17th-century Italian designs, this décor piece is styled after a strand of priceless pearls draped elegantly over a tall apothecary jar that might once have held rare resins or imported spices. The jar's lid includes a tall point with a luxurious molded lotus knob. The shape of the jar and the spheres of the pearls, now rendered in carved wood, are enhanced by the expertly-applied antiqued finish of ivory and deep, muddy grey, giving an authentic artifact look to this designer decorative piece.
